Hanif Mohammad was a versatile cricketer born in Junagadh on December 21, 1934. He played for Pakistan cricket team and is known for his long haul of 337 against West Indies in Bridgetown in 1957-58. He is also credited for making cricket a house hold phenomena from an educated elitist game. He is also considered as the founder of reverse sweep, which many other perfected with time. He also won the cricketer of the year in 1968.
